Tyner Always Ready
Boxing Interviews In this business one has to sacrifice many things and be disciplined in many ways in order to succeed. Often times in this game of ours fighters are given a chance on short notice but rarely is there a fighter always in condition and ready for war. One such example of this however is Detroit's own Lanardo Tyner who is no stranger to entertaining the crowd with his fighting style and personality. Tyner has lost his last three fights via decision to undefeated fighters Jessie Vargas, Kevin Bizier, and Wale Omotoso. The common denominator in these three bouts aside from the fact all were undefeated is that...

McCall Takes The Call
Ringside Biz News   Former heavyweight world champion Oliver McCall (56-11, 37KO) will step back in the ring for the first time since defeating Damian Wills last year. The "Atomic Bull" got the call to replace Francois Botha who was set to face undefeated heavyweight Franceso Pianeta (25-0, 14KO). McCall quickly stepped in for Botha who had to pull out of the match due to a hand injury. The fight will take place at the Brandenburg Halle in Frankfurt, Germany this Wednesday May 16th. McCall who as of late has been making it his business to upset opponents looks to do the same thing in this fight as he will be the underdog once again. McCall should give this young heavyweight a very good test as he does pose some danger even at this age. I for one would not be surprised if McCall is able to pull off the win.

Peterson Verse Khan Rematch is Dead
Ringside Biz News    As many of you well know the rematch due to take place between Amir Khan and Lamont Peterson has been in question since failed drug test by Peterson have come to light. Well today it was formally announced that the fight is off. Khan also stated via twitter that he is looking for a new opponent for a date in June. The NSAC(Nevada State Athletic Commission) would not be able to hold an emergency meeting until May 15th which would not leave much time to make any changes to the fight. One has to wonder what is next for Peterson who just a short time ago was sitting on top of the world so to speak and was due to make his biggest check to date. For khan there seems to be plenty of possible opponents to choose from so we shall see what actually happens.
